This recovery experience has already been traumatizing as it was, and I entered the women’s house in Wallingford at my lowest. I don’t know about the other houses, but at this house everyone at the end of the day can be supportive but it can be cliquey. Excellent environment for recovery not just because of the location (being in walking distance to 12 step meetings 7 days a week, being on the bus line, and most importantly being a few minute walk from the beach), but also because Malik runs it. I am a person in long term recovery myself who works as a professional in the addiction treatment field. Perfect atmosphere for maintaining your recovery. Everyone there is motivated and focused on their sobriety. It's a very clean and an all around great supportive house!

Shoreline Living Solutions has been amazing thus far. The house is a structured environment for men to learn to live independently while maintaining their sobriety. The residents attend meetings regularly and are encouraged to find employment. Malik does a wonderful job working with all of the residents. He is positive and supportive while still instilling structure and adherence to the rules of the house.
