Ankle cuffs and dozens of lost, labeled socks. Locked out with my confused parent because no one will answer the door buzzer or the telephone. Appears to have 1 sleepy staff for the whole floor. Not acceptable. No answer at the main desk. Shall I go on?

My father-in-law Mickey Kortendick came home yesterday after a stay of approximately nine weeks...Very pleased with his care at this facility. The physical therapist and the occupational therapist were amazing! Would definitely recommend!

Our mother/mother-in-law has resided at Shorelight Memory Care for more than 16 months. Our entire family is more than pleased with the care she is receiving. She is comfortable and secure in her surroundings. We visit her often and when we have concerns the staff is quick to accommodate us or find new ways to adapt to Mom’s needs. I work in community relations at Shorelight. A few of the many reasons I chose to work here is because of the high caregiver to resident ratio along with the comprehensive dementia training program. The residents really become like family and are such a pleasure to care for. Working at Shorelight has been an enriching experience. My husband has had the privilege of visiting our campus and had an excellent experience which shows that all who walk through our doors are treated with respect.

The team at Shorelight have been excellent to work with. I was very impressed with their memory care training program for team members. My experience has been nothing but positive. Also, the location is really nice, with an amazing view of Lake Michigan.
