Wish I had read the reviews before signing a contract with Carl. He came out to my house to look over the scope of work and seemed knowledgeable and professional. We were on the phone for almost an hour going over the details of 2 jobs,1 to fix the bulkhead, 2 Make repairs to my deck. He wrote up the contract and said I had to pay 50% up front which I did through Venmo. The day he was supposed to start he sent me a text saying that they couldn't because it was supposed to rain. Carl is a hard working man of integrity. He takes pride in a job well done for a fair price, and holds himself and his crew to a high standard. He was very responsive to my call, coming even after an already full day, and working hard into early evening to help me out. I could not be more pleased with the results and he was a pleasure to deal with. THANK YOU Carl! I will not hesitate to call again and refer you to friends and family.
Carl came out to give a quote to my fiancée and I. When we called him for the quote, he said he would be at our house in 30 minutes, but after hours of staying at our home waiting for him, he did not show. He arrived at our house the following morning unannounced to give us the quote. He was very pleasant and gave us a reasonable quote so we proceeded with him. If I could give 0 stars I would. I am confused why he had such great ratings prior to this one. Carl gave us a quote for a yard clean up, which he did not show up for on our originally agreed upon day and time. He came the following day unannounced to give us the quote. We decided to continue with him as the quote was reasonable. He appeared very professional, was prompt in sending us a contract outlining the costs and date he was scheduled to do the job. Carl and his crew responded quickly to a fallen tree that was leaning on another tree. We wanted to save the tree and they worked diligently to accomplish this for us.
