Absolutely horrible place. My family member had liver transplant less then year ago . She took a fall in the ocean . Rn said maybe fracture on shoulder, and water on knee. Trying to give her meds that she cant take due to transplant. Rn say "oh that's right" then says we are discharing you , follow up with orthopedic. Asked for social worker and RN said "you dont need them" we said yes we do to help get Apts quicker since you are doing nothing . The pediatric er was excellent. They treated my son quickly &super friendly. From the front desk to nurse to X-ray tech were all outstanding.
I will never step foot in the hospital again after my visit to the ER yesterday!!!! I have always loved this hospital and drove the extra few miles up the parkway whenever I needed care ..yesterday was my last trip !!!! It started out with having Dr Goldstein as my dr ..o should have refused based on the fact that my husband and i have both dealt with him before and found him to be cocky, lazy and dismissive.
