Our ShopSabre Pro408 CNC router is a great machine. Our calls to tech support have been few and far between but ShopSabre has always there to quickly solve our problem and get us running again. ShopSabre's tech support is far better than any other CNC company that we have dealt with over the years.
First of all, I want to say I think my ShopSabre 3636 machine is great. I do a lot of .090 and .125 aluminum sheet work and some woodworking. I use Aspire for drawing my designs and creating the tool paths. My machine easily stays within +/- .003 on my aluminum projects. On the few times I called on Tech Support with a request they logged into my machine and quickly took care of my request. I had the pleasure of working with Kodie Lentz during our recent CNC installation and commissioning, and I can say without hesitation that he represents ShopSabre at the highest level. Our installation presented several unexpected challenges from the outset, including air pressure inconsistencies that caused repeated homing faults, an unlevel machine base that required correction, and a tapping option that had been purchased but was not properly wired at the relay level. ShopSabre is a very reliable machine, and the amount of robust machine you get for your money is more than surprising. I have two ShopSabre machines. I have an IS510 from 2015 and a ShopSabre 23 built in 2023. The old machine runs hard every day with no issues whatsoever. This machine has undergone many upgrades with no issues as well.
