I love love love your cupcakes! Could you maybe do a survey? I really think the old vanilla was much better (pink with sugar) instead of the new white with sprinkles. I don't know if the recipe changed or if it's the difference between sugar crystals and sprinkles. Reaaaallly wish you would consider going back!

Visited here while in town visiting family. The shop itself is very cute and in a nice little shopping area. The cupcakes were exceptional, one of the best, super moist cupcakes I've ever eaten. I had the chocolate cupcake with peanut butter icing. The icing was amazing, it wasn't super sweet like some can be. It tasted more like a soft peanut butter fudge. Delicious!
I had been hearing about Buttercups for quite a while now and was in Shreveport for the Highland Mardi Gras parade and decided to pop in afterwards with my family to finally get a taste of some awesome cupcakes and was definitely not disappointed. Unfortunately, we went about 45 minutes before closing and they were out of red velvet, which is what I really wanted to try, but I ended up getting peanut butter which was rich and excellent! OMG. Only the best cupcakes I've ever had. My favorite is the wedding cake. But all of them are super delicious. They rotate out certain flavors everyday. So good!!
Everyone in Shreveport seems to know this place but it amazes me that they still go to a local supermarket who is "famous" for their cupcakes. Funny thing is, this supermarket became famous for cupcakes made by Kim Wood. When Kim decided to make a name for herself, she quit making cupcakes for the supermarket, opened her own shop and is now making these sweet and overly decadent creations under her own name.
