Thank you Brian for your patience and concern. I have had my Bot for 24 years now and have built 28 boats and plugs up to 28' along with other projects. I have had trouble only twice and the people at Shopbot Tools were there immediately to help me get back running again. Thanks again .........................David

Their hardware is pretty good actually. They seem to do things their own way, on the hardware end it works. On the other hand, there's software is abysmal. I am sure it was a programming masterpiece in 1990. I'm not sure how they got .net to do the things that it's doing, but now it is buggy unintuitive and generally a nightmare to use. I've owned a ShopBot 4x8 table for seven years now. Even though I purchased it used, it has been an absolute workhorse. The machine is incredibly reliable; we use it for about 5 hours a day on average, and it has had virtually zero downtime—and any downtime we did have was entirely our own fault. What's truly impressive is that ShopBot's customer service has still helped me out on several occasions, even as a second owner.
