I attended my Granddaughters wedding this past weekend with my sole job being to sit back and enjoy. Which I did. Beautiful day and venue. However when it came to the catering there was a problem I found with the person in charge. She came across as rude and condescending, from criticizing the way the pride had the head table set up to clearing the water pitchers and glasses off the tables part way the evening after being told by some that they weren’t done. We had the absolute pleasure of having Shooting Star Events cater our event at the Medicine Hat Stampede Grounds, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. Our MD C Lions Convention was recently held in Medicine Hat with delegates from all over the province. The catering and service by Stan at Shooting Star Events were amazing! Stan and his team are professional, courteous, efficient, accommodating, friendly and the meals were delicious! Stan held several meetings with our team to ensure that our event went smoothly and was totally worry-free on our end. I cannot thank Stan and the team at Shooting Star Events enough for their contribution to the success of our MD C Convention.
We were given excellent food and service for a short notice event for 40 people. The staff went above and beyond for us, when we needed it the most. The food was displayed beautifully, and was perfect for the group. Delivery and pick up went seamlessly. Thanks so much!
As a part of the Medicine Hat Ringette Association, I was tasked to find a caterer for the banquet we were planning as a major part the off ice events of the 2025 U14B/U16B/Open B & Open C Provincial Championships we were hosting. All throughout the process Stan was very accommodating to any requests that we had. In the end we gave the final numbers of just under 700 invited guests to Stan and he didn't even flinch.
