I had a car accident with a truck on 2011. After surgeries and inpatient physical therapy, I began seeing Dr. Byrd in 2012. She has been my neurologist ever since and she is the only doctor I trust. She gives me the pros and cons of anything that is happening and also tell me the pros and cons of any decision I'm going to make, regarding my brain and health. I called in to book an appointment, spoke to Dorothy,and had the worst experience. She stated she book appointments but then insisted I do it online since it was right in front of me. New Dr. Needed.
Dr. Byrd has done a wonderful job of being beside me throughout my migraines. She is constantly making sure that the medication she prescribed is working, and that I am getting as many of my symptoms under control at the same time. Although I have a difficult situation given my age and the nature of my diagnosis, Dr. Byrd makes sure to put both my caretakers and myself at ease. She is very pleasant to talk to and listens to my concerns while also voicing her own. If only every doctor could be like this!

I saw her for my headaches, educated me on them and diagnosed me with migraines. Will go back to her, very nice and listened. Only issue was over 30 min wait but she did apologize for the wait, first time doctor did that.
Very engaging, smart physician who clearly cares about her patients. Dr. Byrd speaks with you and not at you. Her dedication is obvious and she is very kind as well. She's a Top Tier Doctor...
I love Dr. Byrd. She is the only Dr. at Kelsey-Seybold that I had any faith in. She addressed my issues and concerns completely, ordered additional blood-work that my PCP skipped to get me fully and appropriately treated, gave me additional referrals that my PCP did not think necessary. She has great bedside manner, is friendly and easy to talk to you. I am very disappointed that I may not be able to continue seeing her when my insurance changes next year.
