The doctor is consistently about an hour late for appointments and seems not to value patients’ time.
not sure if Dr Shokravi is aware of how his receptionists(clearly not MOAs) are treating patients. Liz would NEVER charge someone a no show for being in a car accident?! how is one to get to the office then?? Does Dr shokravi really expect people to pay this and refuse service due to accidents..i doubt it. ANd only take CASH..seems like a grab..so disappointing as i have been in this industry for 30 years and Dr Shokravi and Liz were always known to be compassionate and reasonable..
I’ve been going to Dr Shokravi for.number of years now. Yes, he is busy and yes, you may have to wait, but guess what…. You may be waiting because the good doctor has squeezed in an appointment for someone who has na urgent matter that needs to be tended to. Remember, that person may be you someday and no doubt you would be very appreciative for that level of caring by a doctor, and the patience of his patients in understanding the delay. I am so grateful for Dr. Shokravi. He is detail-oriented, attentive, super smart, and clearly takes what he does very seriously. He always undertakes a careful examination, and has swiftly referred me to plastic surgeons for mole removal - and also done some in his office too. I always enjoy chatting with him, and trust his medical recommendations.
Dr. Shokravi saved my life and saved my nose. He correctly identified (by sight) a basal cell carcinoma on my nose that had been misdiagnosed by 2 other specialists and a false negative biopsy. He insisted on another biopsy and the BCC was confirmed. The BCC was so deep that if it had not been correctly identified by Dr. Shokravi my nose would not have been able to be rebuilt by the incredible Mohs/plastic surgeon team at VGH. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Shokravi.
