I've lived in Metairie most of my life and never ate here until recently. I didn't like sushi when I was younger, but when I lived in Japan for three years I discovered how amazing it is. Shogun is so good, it's like a restaurant from Japan was transported to Metairie. The food is very close to the same quality food you get in Japan. This is great for date night, dinner with the family or even a business lunch.
Great traditional hibachi and sushi restaurant. They have the best fried rice around and the service is on point. The same faces have been serving at that restaurant for at least 15 years. 10/10 love this place. Try the tuna tataki
Be honest I wasn’t enjoy the yakiundon and came with 3 or 4 shredded carrot really charged that $13.50 ridiculous and I don’t really enjoy beef was rough and service was slow
