Food was good, good show too. Good amount of food with Ieftovers for later. Order the steak and shrimp with meso soup, fried rice and noodles.
I've been coming to Shogun in Metairie for years, and it's still one of my favorite hibachi restaurants. The lunch specials are an incredible value...you get a huge amount of food for a great price, and the quality has always been consistent. Everything I've tried is delicious, especially the steak, shrimp, fried rice, noodles, and the clear soup. This one hurts to write because the food was honestly phenomenal. We came in late for dinner, & every bite was outstanding. The Japanese oysters were unlike anything I've ever tasted. The yellowtail neck was perfectly crispy and flaky, the rainbow roll with spicy tuna, blue crab roll, salmon skin roll, and the tiny scallop special were all excellent.
