FILTHY!!! – This place is covered in what can only be YEARS of dust and grime. The atmosphere feels sad from neglect and so did the hostess seating us. The meal was less than mediocre and was served by a less than mediocre chef who kept sweating into the food while trying to keep his pants up. The bathroom was so disgustingly dirty, I turned around and walked out without using it -which is what I should have done when I walked through the front door of the restaurant!

Dont go if you are hungry – I went there for lunch and got the smallest portion Ive ever seen! I was so upset, the food wasnt bad but not great either. Servers were nice but my plate was ridiculously small. They try to drown your plate in rice so you dont notice how little of meat serving you are really getting. Horrible, overpriced. I will not go back

Great Hole-in-the-Wall Restaurant – We went there because we heard it was cheaper than Benihana and was just as good so I was up for it and when I got there, I was a little underwhelmed by the appearance and location but that was quickly made up by the great service and food. Our chef was amazing, friendly, and talented and I definately recommend the place.

If you have a week stomach, don't eat there. If your a health inspector, please go there!! – While waiting at the bar to be seated, the mat where they dry the glasses was covered with black mold. The glasses hanging over the bar were coated with grease, dust and dirt. Once seated at a table next to a wall with old brown smelly grease coated all over it, next I noticed that the grill hadn't been cleaned. I mistakingly thought this Shogun restaurant was affiliated with the one in San Diego, CA and the one in McKinney/Dallas, T... read more

Quality has gone down! – Shogun used to be an awesome place with good food and price for a lunch! Then they started getting cheap. First, the quality of rice went down! I personally know because I have been eating my lunch there for a long time and I know the difference! They reduced the quantity and the best cooks left! They have lost me!

The Best – This place was great. The setting, the chiefs, the service and the experiance. The food was out of this world!

Shogun – Good food, good cooks, much better value then Benihana. Best noodles in town. The dipping sauces need a little help.

A Show worth waiting for – Like the more expensive Bennihana's - this place though out of the way is well worth the trip, the lil extra money & short wait for the guest. The staff is enjoyable to talk to, and the show is a definate must see. You may have to wait for others to show in front of your table, but once there, the people are friendly & your cook will show you all the skill expected from a japanese steakhouse and then some. The only negative thing I'd say is the chicken was a lil dry but try the fried rice!
