Love it! – I have to confess that I do have dance training, but as a former Irish step dancer I have been nervous about trying any form of dance that required upper body/core movement. SHOCKra has made learning belly dancing a blast and completely painless. Keisha is an excellent (!!!) teacher, and she makes the movements simple and fun to learn. We Love Keisha!! – Booked a party for my 22nd birthday. This is probably one of the best decisions I made especially choosing SHOCKra as my venue. Jessica was very helpful and provided me all the information I needed to book this party. She got back to me promptly and gave me no pressure at all. Pole dancing with Keisha was amazing!! Ballet with Julie! – I've been coming to Julie's adult ballet classes for over a year now. I love this place! And I love Julie. She's patient and always has some wonderful bit of wisdom to share with the class. This studio is different than every other studio I've tried in Manhattan, where the adult ballet classes feel full of experienced students. Shockra is totally unintimidating and the classes feel more like a very healthy get-together with a bunch of friends. Thanks Julie (and Shockra)!!

Peek-a -Boo showed us a great time! – I attended a beginners pole dancing class this past weekend for my friends bachelorette party. Peek-a- Boo was our instructor. She was amazing and we all had the best time. It's a great workout and a a ton of fun. She was great with us being that there were 8 women in the class and she gave us all individual attention. Memorable Experience – My sister along with friends and family attended Maine Pole dancing class for my sister's bday. Maine was great. She made everyone feel comfortable. She was funny and she knows how to teach you to work the pole without you feeling like a beginner. I think everyone women should attend her class; that same day you will feel confident to go out and buy a pole. Thank you Maine for make my younger sister’s bday a memorable one. Keywanda

I had a great experience – This studio just has a really good vibe. I felt very welcomed as soon as I came in. I took the absolute beginner hip hop workshop and had such a great time. Jessica is extremely nice, and makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed. She also learned everyone's name and seemed to genuinely like and want to help everyone in the class. BLAST!! – Had an Amazing time at Shockra Studio for a Pole Party with my friends! The vibe in the studio was awesome.. and Keisha was GREAT! -Many instructors can dance but it takes a really good instructor to be able to teach it as well! We will def be coming back to take classes!

SO MUCH FUN! – I went to SHOCKra with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday and my friend's birthday and we had so much fun! Keisha was so sweet and so talented and helped us without making any of us feel uncomforable. The class was very fun with many fast-paced, fun and current songs. The workout was great and when I got out I told everyone if it were closer to me I'd take classes there weekly. A++! I hope to go back soon :)

Shockra Studio – This was the first time Ive ever taken a pole class, I was slightly nervous that it would be too complicated but it was the complete opposite. The instructor made us all comfortable and took us through each move step by step. I absolutely loved this experience and definetly plan to come back with my friends. This made my birthday this year. I reccomend this class for any girl whos ready for a little challenge and to spice it up in the bedroom. Keisha is the best pole instructor ever!!
