A few years ago I volunteered to help a disabled veteran manage his benefit check each month. Veterans Affairs required that I have a surety bond and I called several insurance providers, including ones I do business with, but no one was able to write a bond. I finally got to Shockley (I don't remember just how) and the process was easy and in no time I had the bond and was good-to-go with VA. Since then I've needed bonds for a couple other veterans and the service is always prompt and totally satisfactory.
