I had a terrible experience at Shobha Upper West Side. The staff was rude and not welcoming at all. The threading and waxing were done carelessly and left my skin irritated. They didn’t take the time to listen to my concerns or make sure I was comfortable. For such high prices, I expected professional service — but this place was a big disappointment. I definitely won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Promila is the best! Everyone gives me compliments on my eyebrows and she does such a great job threading and making sure they’re clean. Would recommend getting the 6 pack

I’ve been going to Shobha for over 10 years and always always always felt being greatly taken care of. Shashi is a superb master who can easily implement your vision (brows) or suggest hers (which normally is better than mine, haha). She is more than a brow master, she is an artist with an immaculate professionalism.

I had a great experience at Shobha, and with Sunna who waxed me! I went in for my appointment 2 days ago, and got parts of my body waxed and my upper lip sugared/threaded. My skin is usually sensitive post-wax and I usually get these bumps, but so far my skin doesn’t have any bumps! Sunna tested sugar vs wax on my body first to see which would be better for my skin, and even though we decided in waxing, it was almost painless.
