I made an appointment to see this physician at Advent in Davenport FL, but when I arrived I was seen by a nurse instead. What? Is he too good or important to show up himself? My EXPENSIVE (~$400, 30 minute) appointment was with an MD, not his designee nurse. Can you imagine making an appointment with a lawyer and being advised by a legal assistant? Further, the "advice" I was given was trite - "eat fewer calories... write down what you eat... eat from the same bowl each time," and other banalities. Seetahal gets a bad grade ... read more

Dr. Seetahal was called to consult with my husband during his hospital stay at Advent Health Heart of Florida. He was very professional, knowledgeable, & caring. My husband did not need the surgery consulted about but Dr. Seetahal visited every day until discharge to follow up on his patient. Excellence at it’s best! Thank you!
I only met him right before my emergency surgery he was very nice, he knew I was in a lot of pain & tried to be very reassuring. Scary situation for me but he made me feel I was in good hands.

My husband almost DIED in hands the this irresponsible Doctor shivas seetahal.. Becareful... very bad DOCTOR... 2 years ago and my husband is totally disability is no fear for my family....
From my first encounter with Dr. Seetahal, I trusted him completely with my health care. He is professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. He provided detailed answers to all of my questions. He ensured that all of my medical testing prior to my surgery was expedited. The staff were all friendly and promptly assisted with scheduling my appointments. I can not say enough great things about my experience with the GREAT Dr. Seetahal!
Dr. Seetahal took care of my mother during her stay at Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center. He was very kind and compassionate. She was uneasy knowing that she had to have surgery, but he quickly reassured her that she was in good hands. He went above and beyond to make sure her stay and recovery was great.
