horrible been using them often on for 15 years now and stupid me I keep going back well this is now the final straw took a set of curtains in to be himed and not even done correctly and sheer curtain wasn't even touched called to talk to them about it and b**ch density to just laugh at me horrible service I can never get anything right will never use again as far as scouting will send people elsewhere then to go to her will never recommend her ever again

Never Again About 2 weeks ago, I took my gown here for my fiance's MC Ball out in Cali. on Nov. 3rd. I called her shop Oct. 20th to verify when to pick the dress up & take off work since I live 2 hours away. First off, my family owned a business & I've worked customer service jobs, so organization is important. She had an attitude right off the bat because she had look for the ticket. All alerations except for WEDDING GOWNS are done on a walk in basis. There is a fitter from 8:15 to 7 Monday through Friday and 9-3 on Saturdays. Wedding Gowns are done by appointments only since only Miss Shirley herself and fit them and the length of time it takes.

Very disappointed I have gone to Shirley's for almost 10 years... just recently a few of my boys Scout shirts have not been done correctly. Initially it was minor and decided to let it go, and figured it was just a fluke. This past time I brought in two merit badge sashes and two scout shirts. I gave them plenty of time since I did not need them in a rush or anything. Great for last minute inspections! My husband was notified of a uniform inspection the day before he was supposed to have it the next morning. I called Shirleys at 4:50 pm, and they told me they could have his blouse ready by 7pm the same day. They truly saved the day!

Very POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE~~ Here in Jacksonville, NC there are few places you can go to get quality care. Shirley's is one of them so I thought. I had a very bad experience with this business owner. She know she is wrong for what her staff did and I wanted to let Jacksonville know.

Advertised as open till 7pm but no appointments are taken except 9:30 am ...that is a problem because I work at that hour and cannot take off work.

Much appreciation from Clean Force One! We have used Shirley's for the past couple of years. They embroider our company shirts. We have always had very cheerful and curtious service. They also do phenominal work. I refer them to others often. Thanks!

Shirley's Alterations & Embroidery- Great Embroidery Shirley's is located on Lejeune Blvd so it's very convenient to Camp Lejeune and that side of town. Shirley's offers alterations and uniform sewing as well as your embroidery needs. The prices are really reasonable and I've been satisfied thus far. The latest item I've taken there was a blanket for my son. I had his name embroidered on a blanket in two inch letters. His name is six letters and it only cost me $8 total.
