Aside from the time they forgot about me and my dog in a treatment room for over an hour I hadn't complaints in their hit and miss approaches until today. I called crying my dog couldn't get up and they calmly said they could see her next week. When I explained there would be a lot of urine and feces by then they said they could squeeze her in 4 days. I went to a local pet supply and they gave me an arthritis supplement and she was up and fine in 3 hours. The vet wouldn't make any recommendations until her visit.... aka mone... read more
Great practice...great service and Dr Archer is the most passionate about his care to animals....plus he is a nice person with high standards... Glad I have been reunited with his skills.

Took my dog there for a second opinion. They took care of my pets after a fire 5/2018. Very caring and compassionate. They remembered my dog from the fire. Dr Archer picked up a few issues that my dogs other vet did not and I am quite confidant she will fully recover. Amazing doctor and staff. I will not go back to the other vet. We definitely will stay here.
Dr. Archer from Shirley Vet was the most compassionate DVM I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He was so wonderful when I had to say good bye to my fur baby girl. I will forever remember that time with much love and compassion and I will always thank Dr. Archer for making an extremely difficult time a beautiful time as well.
Words couldn't describe how grateful I am to Dr. Archer and his staff. Their main and only concern is for the health and welfare of the pets who come to them. My dog Buddy stayed with them for 2.5 months receiving rehabilitation after an IVDD surgery. Buddy had never been away from home that long but he was surrounded by staff who really cared for him and it really put my mind and emotions at ease. My lily wasn't feeling good,so I call Shirley Hospital they told me to bring her right in.When I got there we were treat like part of the family.Trish is so kind and calming voice to Lily.Dr.Archer was so gently with Lily she was so good.Thank you them,the only problem was one staff member with the black long hair was rude,not very warm.I felt very uncomfortable
