I'm a very different person now than who I was when I walked in the door of Untangled Counseling for the first time years ago. I was a mess - full of self-hatred and saw "failure" written over every area of my life. Shirley helped me see some of the lies I was believing about myself and ways I was stuck. She gently helped give me a better perspective and encouragement to take one step at a time. I no longer need regular sessions, but I still highly recommend Untangled Counseling.

I cannot say enough positive things about Shirley! I have been going to her for over 10 years, and she has helped and supported me through all manner of personal and marital challenges. I have also attended several of her groups. She is the best counselor I have ever had. Her wisdom, insight, genuine care, and godly mentorship have blessed me richly. Shirley is fantastic. She is my counselor and I attend a support group. She's compassionate, empathetic, and wise. She is thoroughly knowledgeable, having extensive education and training, but more importantly, she has lived it and come out stronger. She is passionate about helping others. I wouldn't be where I am today without her help. Regarding the other review complaining about the charge, that's normal for support groups.
