I live in Winthrop and I have been going to this wonderful hardware store for forty years. The people are super friendly, and Dennis, the owner, is always happy to give you advice on everything relating to hardware. This store is a favorite among painters, contractors, etc. and is just simply a really nice store that really takes an interest in their customers. I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful store.
In this day and age, finding a small-town hardware store that can complete with the likes of the monster stores is becoming almost impossible and while they may not always beat the price, their staff's knowledge, expertise and willingness to help more than add enough value to the equation to make them the place to go for such supplies.
These folks are very friendly and helpful. They are always willing to provide project advice and they actually know what they're talking about.
