What a fabulous unique place to stay in Byron, private, quiet and funky with an amazing outdoor area. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach, shops bars and restaurants, can’t wait to come back and stay again.
This is the second time I have stayed. Such a lovely place to stay with friends. We went for morning beach walks, coffee in town, and spent our evenings in the lovely back yard cooking and hanging out. Thursday morning farmers market is a must… visit the banana guy!! The location is so good, and the home feels spacious, perfect for entertaining. The outdoor bathtub is so nice after a fresh winter swim! The decor is very special, so many beautiful antiques everywhere!
Spent 5 days recently at this fabulous Byron Bay property. We were a group of six, so the house and outside garden spaces were perfect for our group. Comfy beds and a clean well equipped kitchen with a funky outdoor dining area was perfect. Gracious hosts. Great location. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. Could not ask for more. Loved it! Looking forward to a longer break next time and will definitely stay at Shirley Blue on Shirley Lane.
My partner and I were lucky enough to stay in this wonderful house for 4 nights over Bluesfest. We could not have been happier. We found the host very amenable and any concerns we had were dealt with in a timely manner. The house is situated in a quiet street and is a stones throw from the beach, the shops and all that Byron offers.
