Shirk's is the only bike shop I go to. It doesn't matter if you need custom laced wheels, high end race equipment, or low cost bikes for the kids. This is the place. Luke and his staff know their stuff.
I bought my bicycle from Shirk's. Very reasonable prices. It's worth the drive.
My brother and cousin are riding in the nightmare tour today, which is a 174.16 mile perimeter ride of lancaster county. My dad went to shirks to pick up more shot bloks for my brother. He told the owner what he needed and why and the owner filled a bag full of goodies and didn't charge him! We totaled it up and it's worth over $60! Thank you shirks!!!
I have been dealing with Shirks bike shop since 1984 when it was 2 small mobile homes bolted together. Believe me when I say the looks do not matter. The new building is nice but not fancy but gets the job done live the owners. These guys know bikes and how to fix them. If you want pretty then go to Martin's but their service is bad and costs are high. I will never by a bike from them ever again.
