Dr. Shirkey and Staff are wonderful & caring. We are never rushed and all our questions are answered. Mr. Murphy even likes Doc. Which really is unusual he can be a bad good boy.
Dr. Shirkey is the best vet we have ever been to. We have a lot of animals, and we have moved around quite a bit. Regardless of where we have been living and how far the drive was (sometimes an hour away), we always return to Dr. Shirkey's office. He genuinely cares about his profession and more importantly about the animals he is treating. All the staff are kind and loving to my pet. She is not the best patient by any means but everyone does their best to keep her calm and to make the visit as easy as possible for her. I can't say enough about the care and the calls to make sure she is doing fine. I just wish my inlaws received the same consideration from their doctors!!!! I totally recommend visitng the Shirkey Clinic with your pet, you will feel at home immediately. They are an awesome team.
Very informative when it comes to health questions regarding your pet. Does what is necessary doesn't push treatments or vaccines unless he believes they are necessary. Very caring when it comes to elderly pets, allowing you to make the right decisions regarding their health and quality of life.
Dr Shirkey and his staff have been with us through new puppies and the passing of old pups since he opened his doors. He is kind and caring to us and our pets. His office is always clean and fresh. They get the best care available with Dr Shirkey.
