I have been looking for somewhere close to home to take my son for a blood test as he gets quite anxious. Today we had a great experience at Shire Family Medical, the doctor was amazing. Everything was so easy from start to finish and nothing was a hassle. They made him feel as comfortable as possible the whole time — no tears and no pain. Really grateful for such great care!
We attended the paediatric pathology clinic here and it was brilliant. My 4 year old daughter didn't even realise she had blood taken. Kind, patient and professional service! Thanks again
A very big Thank you to Dr Louis Traynor who was very gentle with my 10 yr old son taking blood this morning who had 2 failed attempts elsewhere recently. His calming and encouraging nature was reassuring throughout and my son was very relaxed in his presence. The allocated appointment time was very helpful to reduce the anxiety that can build up with increased waiting times. We will only come here for future pathology needs and highly recommend to others seeking a positive experience.
The team at Shire Family Medical are exceptional. We are truly grateful for their high level care and customer service. We have been attending this practice since the opening more than 10 years ago. Their care and service has only gotten better. They are absolutely genuine and passionate about what they do and they are committed to always helping people.
Doctors here are nice, like normal GP. However, the young receptionist is so rude to everyone and treats everyone as if they are inconveniencing her. Even over the phone to make a booking she is extremely rude and she has made me change my family to a different practice, and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. She is so abrupt and dismissive to whoever she speaks to, and I even see her speaking like this to the elderly which breaks my heart.
