wish I had a better experience. she didn't understand the complexities of my child and our relationship. Also, she charged us every time but when I reached out to her for help because my insurance paid her, she not only didn't help with it but delayed them paying me back for months.
Shira is a skilled therapist and supervisor. She has a gift for creating a safe, collaborative environment that helps clients, and fellow clinicians, grow by connecting with and nurturing their strongest, wisest selves.
I received wonderful supervision from Shira. She brings a balance of consistent support and information from her own clinical experience that is very helpful in working with a variety of clients and cases. She also provides ideas on interventions that are both appropriate and effective for children, teens, and adults. Overall, she creates a welcoming environment that allows for the supervisor to supervisee relationship to be collaborative. She is a great choice for supervision!
I have worked with Shira both personally and professionally and am constantly amazed by her compassion, dedication to her clients, and her endless patience. Shira is extremely knowledgeable in her therapeutic work and an excellent supervisor and supportive colleague! I would highly recommend her as a therapist or supervisor.
