About this business
I grew up in an automotive family with my dads repair shop and salvage yard right in the back yard. As a child I found tinkering with cars fun. I started working in dads shop after school and as time went on took on more roles in the family business. In 1995 I decided to open my own business in Vernon VT. In 1998 with demand for our services growing we moved to a larger building in Hinsdale NH. At this time Anita came on board to help me run the business. I'm glad that this outfit is on the up and up. In this day and age when it seems acceptable to do whatever it takes to separate customers from their $$$, it is my experience that everyone at Shippee Auto goes above and beyond to ensure that the customer is informed about the repairs needed, and put in the best position to make an informed decision. Great overall experience! very informative and nice staff plus a bonus of a cute dog to keep you company i was able to get multiple things fixed on my car in a timely manner every time i come here. Only thing that isn’t amazing is the price overall as it is a little pricey but everything is done very well and quickly as well!
Shippee auto is the GOAT. They are honest, fair, friendly and professional. They are my go to place for simple wiring issues to installing major components. Plus Sadie May the shop dog is perfect.

Excellent experience! Great communication! A little pricier than other places, wanted to charge me $75 to adjust my wipers along with spending $1200 on exhaust, oh well. I am willing to travel and pay for good work and good communication! They even have a dog!!!
