Dr Shipowick is very knowledgeable and makes me very confident about his decisions. He sees my husband often when he sees me. He is aware that my husband is my primary caregiver and respects what my husband has learned about my condition and he is the only doctor I’ve seen in recent years who gives me confidence he knows what I’m talking about.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Shipowick as my new primary care physician and he was excellent. Showing genuine interest in my concerns, he took time to talk through treatment options and left me feeling better about my health concerns. I sincerely appreciated that.

As a patient at South Hill Family Medicine (now Columbia Care) for over 30 years, I have known and seen Dr. Shipowick many times. He has always been prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and -equally important to me- kind, and NEVER rushed or inattentive to my questions or concerns. I am also a nurse, and have helped several of my geriatric clients to acquire Dr. Shipowick as their Primary Care Provider over the years. As a nurse, I've known MANY local doctors; Dr. Shipowick is one of the best!

I have seen Dr. Shipowick on two occasions. He gets straight to the point and doesn't make a big fuss. Just doesn't what needs to be done. Doesn't take millions of unnecessary tests. But does take care of the problem.
