Forgot to eat, had to stop off at Shipleys for a quick kolache on the way. It was terrible- the bread was hard, the kolache was tiny and all dried out in the center. The bread had no taste. Huge difference compared to the kyle donut shop right next to my house. It was also more expensive at shipleys. 3 bucks for a small dried out bad flavor kolache… I will not be going back there
Good donuts when made fresh. The cake donuts taste like they were day old and stale. Girl with green/blue hair needs some coaching on customer service. Not rude but extremely short with customers. Makes it seem that we are an inconvenience.
The food always hits at Shipley's. It was getting late in the day, so there was a slightly limited selection, but they still had several of my favorites, including the chocolate iced donut and sausage & cheese kolache. I think Shipley's has changed the recipe since the last time I had one of their kolaches, but honestly, it was fantastic.
