Why are they not open? No sign saying otherwise. Ranks still have Donuts. Doors locked and no one at the windows. A number of customers came and went. I wasn't the only one. (Sad, I really enjoy their Donuts, too)
I do DoorDash so I come here and the other location a lot and about 9 times out of ten I have to substitute items because they don’t have them. I’m talking about multiple items each delivery! Nothing is ever ready and just now it’s 6:09am they open at 5am and the doors are locked and I come to the drive through and no one comes to the window.
I have had Shipley's donuts at Circle K and decided to drop by one Sunday for the first time to grab food for the family. I went through the drive through during my visit. I was the second car in line, and it was taking a bit longer than I expected. I hung in there, and I am glad I did as the lady working the window apologized right away and said the baker had shown up and were a little behind. Did not have what we wanted , and it was kind of like all we have is this take it or leave it , wasn’t asked if wanted to wait for some to be made. Service was bad. Ham and cheese kolache reminded me of campbells chicken needle soup like I didn’t know there was chicken in this soup , lol it was all bread and cheese very little ham
Super long time Shipley’s fan. Like, grew up eating the chocolate filled! I’m 45, if that says anything. That being said, super disappointed that the Lubbock location only makes a certain amount each day. Granted it was 930/10 am when I went in, but if you know you sell out all the time, why not make more?
