The dentist office has always been an irrational fear of mine, and I haven’t been to the dentist is 10+ years so I was extremely anxious booking this appointment and I almost cancelled like 5 times. I am SO glad I didn’t cancel!! Everyone in the office is so kind and great, but Kyler is a miracle worker! She made me so comfortable and walked through everything she was doing which really helped calm my nerves. By far the best dentists in the area. I was going to a large chain before switching to Shipley and Tewell, the difference is extremely noticeable. I'm in less pain compared to treatments at the bigger chains and they don't try to sell me things I don't need. I've been to most places in the Valley Station area, this is my favorite by far.
Yesterday was my first time visit here at Shipley & Tewell Dentist followed by having a cleaning and some work done. From the lady at the front desk, to the lady who cleaned my teeth, to the actual dentist that did my procedure. They were so kind & helpful answered all of questions/concerns. They took their time with me & made me feel more calm because I’ve always had dental anxiety. Definitely top notch here. Thank you all. See you in 6 months.
Best dental experience I've ever had.Had a bad tooth that needed to be extracted and they made the experience very easy for me will be going there for now on
Great experience all around! Dr Tewell and his assistant Alyssa were amazing and very helpful through the entire process. I truly felt in good hands and would highly recommend them to anyone!
