a gem in West Newton – Until I discovered Shing Yee, I had trouble finding a really good Chinese restaurant in the Boston area. This place is great!! Every time I've gone there, the staff was friendly and the food arrived promptly. This restaurant is very clean. It doesn't have a very imaginative decor, but who cares? The food is terrific! I recommend the vegetable lo mein and kung pow chicken. And the chicken fingers are delicious and not greasy, so they don't sit like a brick in your stomach after you've eaten them.
