We initially went to Shine Bright for a speech and language evaluation after our son was diagnosed with dyslexia. For years we experienced our son’s frustration with reading and decided to give EBLI a try with Miss Sam. Within a few weeks, we noticed a decrease in his frustration when reading. He’s even reading on his own without us prompting him at home! We are excited to see our son continue to build his confidence and reading skills with Miss Sam.
Miss Sam has made such an impact on my daughter’s reading in such a short time. Reading has always been a struggle for her, and we have watched her confidence and interest in reading and writing flourish thanks to Shine Bright and the EBLI program. Miss Sam is patient and encouraging and we cannot say enough wonderful things about her.
The experience my daughter and I have had with Sam is incredible. The easy access with teletherapy, the added myofunctional training, and Sam’s easy demeanor have worked wonders for my daughter. I am very happy we found Shine Bright!
My husband and I felt as if we had “fallen behind” with tummy time after our little one was hospitalized at six weeks old.
