Dr. Kumar is an intelligent, humanistic, and capable physician. I recommend her highly.
I will disagree with the previous poster. Dr. Kumar is polite, professional and thorough. She caught a thyroid condition which often goes un-diagnosed. She looks at the big picture. She can refer to all of Boston's top specialists and the Waltham location is such an easy in and out.
She’s kind and a great listener and makes time feel like it is not an issue. She’s on time and her staff are lovely.
I had already seen several specialists at the MGH Waltham location and was pleased, so I thought I'd give the primary care a try. Big mistake! Saw Dr Shilpa Kumar. First, I was rushed into the room by a nurse muttering something about staying on time. She actually looked anxiety ridden about keeping the appt on time.
