I would give 0 stars if I could. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone. Specially for first time moms that we know we are very vulnerable and don’t know anything about pregnancy yet. I’m a first time mom and all the appointments with her she would get in the room, stand in front of the door with her hand on the handle ready to leave. I felt like I was being rushed every visit. Avoid this doctor if you value your time. I was looking for a new gynecologist and, at Dr. Monga’s request, had all of my records transferred from my previous OB-GYN. After waiting four weeks for an appointment, I was informed that she would not see me because I “should just stay with my current gynecologist.” With all due respect, it is not Dr. Monga’s role to decide where I seek my healthcare. Dr. Shilpa Monga is truly the best gynecologist and obstetrician you could ask for. She takes the time to listen carefully and answers every question without ever making you feel rushed. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. She is always punctual, and even on days when she is not in the office, she makes herself available if needed, which is something very rare and special. I went through the effort of having my medical records faxed over, just to wait over 1 week to set up an appointment. I ended up having to be the one to call, just to find out I was denied. I'm high risk for ectopic pregnancy. How long was I supposed to wait to hear I was denied?
