Good Food Good food, but not too kid friendly. We loved the food but did feel a little out of place with our kids. I would totally recommend this place if you not have kids or at least if you have older kids. They had a great menu and the staff was fantastic.
Always great My sister and I like to go to the Shilo to relax for dinner or just sit and chat over amazing desserts. The atmosphere is pleasant, view great, and service very attentive. They wont rush you out the door either. Great for a special occasion.
Shilo Restaurants & Lounges is cozy Love to leave the kids at grandparents and come here with my wife. It is so great when there is a storm and you can watch the waves crashing. Can be very romantic.
decent food We were drawn by the sign advertising Karaoke on Mon & Tue evenings. (It's easier to get up the nerve to grab the mic away from home & people you know.) The appetizers were OK, not great, the service marginal, the atmosphere ok. The Karaoke DJ's were absolutely the best.
LC Good choice for business travelers. Nothing fancy but very comfortable, clean and safe. Front desk staff was very friendly and even made restaurant recommendations.
Outstanding rooms & Restaurant One of Portland's most popular hotels and I can understand why. All rooms are beautiful suites and immaculate. Their restaurant serves excellent meals and the service is friendly. I have stayed at the Airport and other Shilo Inns on business trips for years and I find them consistently clean and very comfortable. The Shilo Inn Hotels rate 5 stars with me. Jimmy L.
unhappy We had dinner for four. My rib eye was very good and tender and nice size. The mashed potatoes were cold the green beans were very few and but, were nice and crispy. Now for twenty six dollars this was not good, The other meals were small and sons marina pasta or something along those lines was cold. Husbands fish was small and daughter inlaws pasta had very few vege's. To top it off a salad is extra. Topper was our appetizer arrived with our entre. Our bill was 120. Good Clean place We have stayed here at this Shilo Inn with several folks from my daughters school every February for the last 5 years. They always welcome us when we take over their hotel for the weekend. The pool is a little small, but the kids don't mind. They have a nice continental complementary breakfast in the morning, with complementary latte's as well. Great place to stay!
Great Food The happy hour at the Shilo Airport is a great place to meet up with your friends and sample their wonderful appetizers and drinks. Their staff is always friendly and service with a smile.
