I don't normally leave reviews online, but I've seen so many negative reviews for this service that I wanted to share MY experience, which was overwhelmingly positive. Hopefully this review will be helpful to those thinking about adopting with this service. Something I see a lot in the negative reviews is the approval process for the dogs. Great experience with initial contact(s). I haven't adopted from them yet. We filled out the application in October. All personal references, vet references, and home visit confirmed. But we are still waiting for the perfect pup. I am seeing by past adopters it takes a long time. We will wait. :)

The dog I was interested in had found a home. They said they would keep me informed if they got another Pom in.

I know Shih Tzu and Furbabies Rescue is looking out for the best interest of their Furbabies. They want to make sure this is a forever home that will love and nurture this little Furbaby. I have worked with this organization a couple years as a transporter, and most recently as someone who checks references. When my 18-year-old Shih Tzu, Murphy, died at 18, I also went through the adoption process, and was so impressed with the whole process.
