Very difficult to get (1) through on the phone and then (2) to be able to make an appointment. I have given up on trying several times after long queues and full capacity on the call lines. It is a lottery to try to get in. Not helped by yhd closure if Shifnal surgery and apparent delays in opening the new facilities. Also a total lack of communication around when the new one will be open.
Unable to get an appointment for my 1 year old. Been trying to get an appointment for 3 days. When I finally got through, I was offered a very early AM appointment, which unfortunately we couldn't attend, so I requested a PM appointment instead and we were advised it wouldn't be possible to book PM appointments until AM appointments have been filled. I was a new patient to the surgery last year and have immediately changed to a different medical practice because of how much unnecessary stress has been caused by being a patient here. The doctors forgot to refer me for an urgent scan, and only put me forward quickly when I threatened to make a complaint. I was waiting for 9 months and was told at the hospital that I had waited way longer because my GP had forgotten to refer me. This has happened to both me and my fiance. I booked an appointment with the surgery, they failed to tell me it was at the Priorslee building, luckily when this happened to me I was able to be taken in as I called the practice in a panic explaining the situation. I've had lovely appointments with the nurses and doctors previously, and I've always been spoken to kindly by staff.
