Dr. Shield is an excellent therapist. She is positive, supportive, encouraging and pro-active. She challenges patients with care and understanding and gets them seriously involved in their own care and betterment. I have seen her for individual therapy and marriage counseling. My son has seen her as well. In all cases she was extremely helpful.
