When shields septic sees a job they don't want to do, they will just string you along by missing dates and then tell you stories about having to get called out on an emergency in timbuktu as an excuse to not show up. Unless you need a simple septic pump or a brand new installation, they don't want to do it.

We had a brand new septic system put down when we built our house 14 yrs ago and within a year had to have it pumped out and since then every other year which we shouldn't have had to do it period, well since before thank we have had it pumped out 4 times and we now have to put new field.lines down. It has never worked properly. Whatever you do, I wouldn't let him put it down , and the biggest thing is he thinks he's done anything wrong, he should have known when he came out the first time that something was wrong.
