The Shidogakuin Pleasantville NY Dojo (Shidokan) is one of the best hidden-gem Kendo and Iaido dojos I have ever had the luxury of attending. Kendo is a small community, and many people may have never even heard of this school but don’t be fooled. This quiet dojo is led by Shozo Kato Sensei, one of the world’s premier Kendo and Iaido instructors.
