An unplanned trip to the CaroMont Regional Medical Center ER in Gastonia for a painful side ache turned into a diagnosis of kidney cancer. Dr. Shiddhi Patel was one of the first doctors that I saw in the ER. I really appreciated her kindness and honesty about what I should expect. Within' 2-days of the diagnosis my cancerous kidney was removed. During my 6-day stay I saw her frequently, and she answered all our questions. She is professional and yet personable. Dr. Patel is a top notch medical professional.
