I have been going to Shi Nails for years and felt that the service has gotten laxed & rushed. This last time I was called 5 minutes before my appointment time to confirm and said "yes" I'm on my way to only get Scolded for being 3 minutes late. I would have been fine if they needed to cut short my time but was not given the chance....Just spanked. I have waited many times and never said anything. Never coming back. This was the only salon I would go to for the last 2 years. Never had a fantastic experience ever. Always felt rushed and the quality was always inconsistent. But today's visit was the last and I'll tell you why. I pulled cash out of the ATM as I know they prefer to be paid and tipped in cash. Pulled out a certain amount, my total was crazy high and I wasn't expecting it, so I gave the guy checking me out all of the cash I had and said keep the change. I had an excellent experience here. I just needed a quick pedicure for an event, but I was greeted and prompted with a whole pedicure menu, which I gladly enjoyed. The tech was talented and gave a great massage, she took her time with everything. She told me the color I chose was sheer and offered me a better one. I made an appointment and they took me right away. The shop was VERY busy. My pedicure was good but felt very rushed. From the time she started until she was done was 20 minutes. I got the deep clean pedicure. They use the cheese grater thing on your feet which I don't like. The paint job was good but I don't think I'll return.
