She does not listen to what you say. She has her own ideas. I will not see her again. There are other doctors who are much more understanding and open minded. I only went to her because I could get a fast appointment. Now I know why.
Like another commenter said, if I could give negative stars I would. I have never been more belittled by a human, much less a Dr as I sat bawling in the office. I have a rare form of migraine and high intracranial pressure. After being on Topomax for almost 7 months now and it not working, she just wants to increase it. It is giving me terrible brain fog and visual side effects. I was told 20% of the people can't handle it because they aren't intelligent. A phenomenal doctor! Extremely attentive and personable. I would recommend Dr. Shi to anyone looking for a new neurologist.
If I could give negative stars I would. Never have I ever dealt with a more condescending, rude, and disrespectful person. Her only interest seems to be in billable hours and visits. Her obvious disdain for her patients and their issues is made clear by her complete lack of regard for their physical well being as well as emotional. She's clearly only in it for the paycheck, don't expect her to want to help you or to be bothered to care!
