As a former employee of a company that abruptly went out of business and entered into an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors with Sherwood Partners, I and many other employees have been waiting over two and a half years to be paid what the employer owes us. There has been zero transparency and multiple excuses, but zero results. This is a process that is supposed to be faster than bankruptcy. Sherwood Partners' handling of this has been unacceptable on every level.
Zero transparency. Zero communication. Zero response to emails. Filed a top priority claim in May 2021. Website would only allow one page of documentation to be uploaded so I mailed in the remaining pages. I received no acknowledgement that the additional documents arrived. I emailed twice, a month apart, asking about said documents and was ignored. As of February 2022, no updates on the status of the claim, no acknowledgement of documents being received. Employee claims are supposed to be "top priority".
