My partner purchased deck paint which we had a contractor apply last fall. Within a few days or less the paint was flaking off and you could rub the paint off with your finger. My little dog would lay on her back and she would be covered in paint flakes when she got up. Sherwin Williams was contacted by the contractor and they advised that they would replace the paint in the spring. The paint has not been replaced nor arrangements made to rectify the situation by Sherwin Williams or the contractor.

Paint products are good but this is a complaint about the company not giving out shirts ...been buying paint from there for 20 years and have shirts out without a problem...but since stopped....time to start looking at the competators that do...I get about $2500 to $3000 with of product and others feel the same

Reached out to the corporate office after a local store told us they would have problems trying to obtain the quantity of stain we needed. This sounded unusual because the quantity we need is available at Lowe’s or Home Depot. The corporate office confirmed they will not assist the local store in obtaining the quantity of stain we need. I’m still in shock Sherwin-Williams would not assist their own store in making a large sale and instead encourage us to purchase the product from Lowe’s or Home Depot. Not sure about any other Sherwin Williams store but the one in Noth Olmsted , Ohio does awesome customer service. I'm sure this is a direct result of the manager. Every person I've had the pleasure to meet was very helpful in making sure I had the right product and was very helpful full in explaining the difference of the product. Oliver is one name I remember but I forgot the other gentleman who helped carry 4 gallons of paint to my truck. Thank you guys for all of your excellent service.
