I was in Gunnison about a month ago to see the Gunnison Sage Grouse, and had dinner here. It's not fancy in any way, but it was a place worth visiting. The woman waiting on me was efficient and friendly. The samosas and dumplings were delicious. Perhaps the best part was this - the man preparing my food in the kitchen was singing, and seemed to be enjoying his work. It made me feel like I could taste his happiness in each bite. I would certainly visit again if I find myself back in Gunnison.
One of my top two favorite restaurants evee. The food was so delicious and full of quality ingredients. I wish they were closer to home so we could eat there more than once. The Sherpa Stew is a must! A generous serving of a variety of vegetables and meat in an oh so good broth. I could have eaten it all week. The Dahl (lentil soup) was flavorful and also delicious. Delightful experience! Wonderful food and ambience, kind and attentive staff, and great options. A true gem! I got garlic and cheese naan, a beer, chai, and the Chicken Tikka Masala. All of it was superb and appropriately hot or cold!

All of us at dinner were already well-acquainted with Nepali food. And each dish that came out elicited a knowing wow of appreciation at how perfectly spiced and reminiscent of home it tasted.
