Mr. Sherman is rude, arrogant and condescending. That can be OK if a dentist/surgeon is very good at what he/she is doing, but that is far from the case here. After an horribly scary procedure which did not turn out even close to what Mr. Sherman had described upfront, I had to seek 2nd opinion ending up getting extensive, corrective procedure. I hope others will not make the same mistake I did when I stepped into this dentist's office.
Removal of broken tooth. He has an excellent chair-side manner; likeable, very reassuring, kind, and understanding. A patient has confidence in his abilities. Treatment was successful, with almost no pain. Staff is helpful and competent. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.
too bad this doctor was a great personable informative oral surgeon, but his staff are the utmost rude people i've ever encountered in a medical/dental office.. they should be fired and replaced by professional people!!
I've been to Dr. Sherman twice for wisdom teeth extraction (I opted to get them removed separately.) On both occasions, the Doctor had an excellent bedside manner, worked quickly, and professionally. If you have a choice of oral surgeons, Dr. Sherman should be at the top of your list.
This man was insulting, bitter, and cynical, he may be a good surgeon but right off the bat he was brusque, insolent, condescending and judgemental. If it wasn't for his character, I would have allowed him to examine me but his attitude towards his patients is outrageous. I think he should retire or take a sabatical. Fortunately he is near retirement age. What a waste.
Excellent job taking out my wisdom teeth. I was very nervous and he took very good care. Minimal pain and he was neat and competant. The office was nice and clean too.
Dr. Sherman is the greatest. I had a problem and he diagnosed it correctly immediately. He spoke to me in technical terms like I was a fellow doctor so it was hard to keep up sometimes but it seems like he really knows his stuff and at least he didn't talk down to me like I'm an idiot. He's a funny guy too, and even though I HATE going in for anything medical, he's genuinely nice and funny. But the most important thing of course is the results of the procedure which were perfect.
Wonderful- dentist was kind and competent. I feel much better now after my treatment.
