It seems to be in great need of a renovation. The gym is a joke but that's what probably keeps the rent low and the apartments on the enterior are fine.
Decently priced apartment with moderately renovated units. Staffs are pretty nice and provides you a peace of mind that there is a doorman 24/7. Gym is not that great - running machines not in working order and the belt slips, which is a potential hazard. The reason for 3 stars is the bug issue - roaches and mosquitoes that penetrate the window screens. The exterminators explain that on-going construction next door is the cause of the roaches coming up, but it is disgusting and annoying.
This place is a dump at 5630 N. Sheridan rd,Chicago,Il. You have paper thin walls, hallway doors slamming all day long. Staff that is not trustworthy, always trying to look into your apts, if you live on the 1st floor. Watering grass for two hours sitting by your bedroom windows. Always make sure you are home, if they need to access your apt., do not trust this unprofessional staff for nothing!

The building is alright, there is no way to control your own heat, so it gets extremely hot in the winter months. There is also little to no cross breeze, so I kept the AC running all year long. Most of the desk staff is great, except for one creepy guy, I think his name is Robert. My biggest issue is with most of the other residents. People using more than two washers at a time, people not wearing deodorant in the middle of summer, people using the foyer as a play area for their children, people not taking care of the worko... read more
