What an amazing hotel! Can't believe it is in Australia! It feels like you traveled to a tropical destination. They have 9 pools and 7 bars and restaurants. But our favorite was Harrissons. Make sure you book the room with swim up to the lagoon. We loved it
We stayed 3 nights at Sheraton for our first wedding anniversary & babymoon. Had seen the mixed reviews but booked anyway, and had one of the best holidays we’ve ever had. From the second we got there the staff were wonderful. Our room was ready when we arrived at 12pm which was amazing, we weren’t expecting it to be. They took our bags to & from the room for us on check in and check out (so helpful being 30 weeks pregnant, the stairs & heat). Wonderful hotel. Food is fabulous. We had a great time. Service was exceptional.
Do not go for the beach. While you can walk on beach during low tide, stinging nettles in sea and no lifeguards make swimming dangerous. Pools at resort are lovely.
OMG - amazing resort! Highly recommend for all, families, couples and all! Great location to stay and launching point for snorkeling tours of the GBR!
