The seafood buffet tonight, had off crab, when I raised the concern that it smelled of feet and ammonia, I was told the chef said it's fine, absolutely not fine to serve bad seafood, major safety risk, I threw up the bit I actually consumed before realizing it's off, and the second debacle is the $78 bday cake I ordered, it was a terrible frozen then thawed cake, not fresh, the decorations were soggy, and just not a nice cake at all, the only highlight of the evening is the dining room is beautiful, and the oysters were nice... read more
Outstanding service, from car valet, to reception, to staff at the breakfast buffet and chefs. Great and fully equipped Gym. Rooms a little bit dated but clean and comfortable. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and will stay again when in the area.
This is not a 5 star experience. There was just problem after problem. It was never ending. It’s a long one so just prepare! It started when we first arrived. Asked for some things to be brought to the room from housekeeping, was told “they will be right there!”. 30 minutes later and they had still not arrived. Called up asking where they might be and they arrived a mere 10 minutes after that. We were extremely disappointed with our stay, especially considering the amount we paid. As soon as we arrived, we wanted to leave. The property looked nothing like the photos advertised, which was incredibly misleading and a huge let-down. The room was in poor condition, with visible mould in the bath, and the overall cleanliness was well below an acceptable standard. The food was also very disappointing.
